Stella McCartney is upping the green ante by releasing a 20 piece sustainable collection. McCartney has been a fur-free, vegan designer for the longest, and is reasserting her self as the right-on thoughtful fashion maven that we know her to be. A couple questions persist, none the less:
Why only 20 pieces? For the price point her clothes fetch and her conscious/activist fashion mentality, why not an entire green collection? Heck, Spring 2008 in all its glory could have been entirely sourced with sustainable materials. Right?
